225 40 18 are stock LNF size, plenty of braking power. Any larger and you have to be careful about your offset to keep from rubbing.

245 on stock wheels rubs on the rear fender depending on how off center your swing arm is.

I would say get a all season but it depends how much snow you get. If you want all out comfort. Some continental contipro do just right. They are OEM on A LOT of vehicles

yeah, not enough snow to warrant winter tires, but just enough not to use summer tires haha!

i'll haveta see what kinda deal i can get on those continentals. it's hard for me to get my head wrapped around car tires cause i'm so use to light truck tires lol

Yeah I been riding on diff tires and comparing. Nothing beats the OEM tires. Good on summer. Good on winter.
