2.2l stuck full throttle

Hey y’all new here so I have a 2005 Chevy cobalt it is a two door it has the 2.2 eco tech I just swapped the motor (put a rod through the last one) everything has went rather smoothly car sat for 1 1/2 years roughly I drained fuel and put new when you start the car it goes straight to the limiter I’ve swapped both the throttle body with a different used one and a map sensor to no avail could the be a relearn idle situation I don’t feel that it is

I had a similar issue with a different car, where it would rev up on its own while driving. It was the engine coolant temperature sensor going bad and making the computer think the temperature outside was -30 or something degrees. I remember also when looking into it, it possibly being the idle air control valve.

Get something if you haven't already to give you a reading on all the sensors and data.

Yea that’s all on the throttle body I believe with this motor and the the maf on intake I just wouldn’t think that both would do the same thing don’t really have money to through at being it’s a beater but I had someone else tell me it could be ecm
