Rear axle beam bushings

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has dealt with rear axle bushings? My car has recently failed inspection for (among other things) "rear axle beam bushings torn and separating." I cannot seem to find any information or "how to" online anywhere, does anyone know where these are located, and how to replace them? I appreciate any help I can get. they wanted $1600 to fix it.

Just got done doing mine, well I had to take it to a mech shop to get the bushing pressed out, you cannot do it yourself. they did it for 100 bucks, DO NOT take this problem to a mechanic shop, take the axle off yourself and take it to a machine shop, way cheaper.
