Hello everyone, im new here and also new to having a 2007 cobalt SS sc.

question: looking for a cold air intake. Which one is best?

by best i mean a good combo of price, sound, performance, and ease of install.

thanks in advance.

little about me. im 27, live in mass, 2 kids and yes i can get them in my 2 door car with ease. lol. bought my 07 ss 2 weeks ago and i love it.... looking for a few easy upgrades to give it a bit more power.

I'm not an ss/sc guy but hey welcome to the site. Most all intakes are the same, well, top brand wise they're the same. easy mods would be header d/p combo and a cat-back, then you get into different diameter pulleys coupled with larger injectors and tune. heat exchangers, dual pass, meth injection... list goes on. Turbo conversion is an option also that makes big numbers. The lsj is a solid motor and great platform for modification.

thanks guys. now call me stubborn but i kinda like the sc. i know the turbo makes more power but theres just something about a supercharger that makes me happy. lol. now, as for other mods i will have to take my time.. not a lot of cash to do nice things.

how long do these clutches usually last? i ran my car a bit hard today and either i have a really bad habit from driving tractor trailers and left my foot on the clutch or my clutch slipped in 2nd. i couldnt get it to do it again if that means anything. also my car has 54k miles and is still on the original clutch.
