Hey guys my name's Sean and I'm a new Cobalt owner as of Friday 7/02. I have a 2005 Cobalt LS with 48k miles.. picked it up for $7,600 and traded in my truck on top of that. My truck was my life I got her when I graduated high school two years ago but she had a lot of problems and it was just time to get rid of her and get a car I liked with good gas mileage. I had a 2001 Dodge Dakota R/T 5.9 liter engine.. she sucked up gas like it was nothing. I had fun with her though definitely gonna miss her.
Anyway I've driven the car a lot over the past two days and I have to say its a nice little car. Still have to get used to the feel of it because I'm coming from a truck, but its really nice. Here are some pics:
She's pretty clean for a used car. I had my mechanic check it out and he said there was nothing mechanically wrong with it so I bought it. I'm definitely gonna have to get used to the engine bay... it's A LOT different then my truck. And the battery is in the trunk, I had a nice laugh about that. Anyway, she's bone stock and I'm not looking to go crazy but I'll probably be trying to make it "my" car, like I had my truck. Look forward to learning a lot here.
