I have a 2007 cobalt lt with pioneer audio and xm but no on-star. I replaced by HU a few years ago and want to get Sirius again(now have a kdc bt555u). Does anyone have a thread or know how to do this. From what I gather, I would have to take the back deck out and unhook the antenna cable from the Sirius box, then get an extender and wire it to my Sirius ready HU by using a Sirius sxv200 adapter. Please Help.

That might work but I have zero experience with it. You'd also lose OnStar.

its possible maybe. but its just a shot in the dark. You will also have to modify the stock plug as well to fit into any of the aftermarket tuners
I saw a video on YouTube about where it is on a stock gm Vehicle.( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmqdwhIqauw ) I checked and didn't see it. I will attempt tomorrow and hopefully it's behind the back deck of the vehicle.

ya the stock XM tuner and antenna plug is on the rear deck
