My GF has a '07 Chevy Cobalt LS that I recently had to do a trans swap to. Trans has about 50K on it and all has been pretty well. But lately little electrical issues were popping up and today was the big one. Door locks starting unlocking/locking, engine started to stutter, lost the speedo, "power steering" appeared on dash, Check engine light came out (promptly disappeared and so far the OBD claims nothing happened), "Service Air Bag" came on, refuses to leave 1st gear. I figure with SO MANY! different things going on that some sort of grounding issue, but figured I'd pop the question out here to see if anyone knows of a specific possible link all these things may have since today's cars are so heavily computerized. Thanks.

Nope no flood. I checked the entire engine bay and think all my grounds are contacting. I even added a lil dielec grease to the contacting sides after i scuffed em up a bit with some emery paper. I how ever have not gone after the ecu and tcu. I put some dielec grease on each side when i tore the thing apart but maybe moisture still got in. Cool thanks for the reassurance. Wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any links. I come from a saab world so it's a different kind of electrical demon. They have no rhyme or reason.
