Just over $600 later, 5 degrees out and it started fine, then had to go get daughter from college, on way back Airbag light flashed twice. Next day the DIC buttons weren't working perfectly. She's back at college with it, as long as it starts don't care about DIC or air bag light flashing, both times on right hand corners with her in that seat.

If this car was in front end accident, your problem is most likely in the front. I would check the ground wire mounted under the left front headlight(big wire), ground wire under the coolant tank. And ground wire on the radiator core support behind left head light. If it was hit hard, or left some place with the hood open or off. I would also try replacing the under hood fuse box. The multi problem points to the fuse box or ground issue. Also check wiring to the ecm and transmission computer. These cars are not very complicated.

The buttons in the steering wheel tend to malfunction when the airbags go off. If you remove the switch from the car, sometimes the back of it is off. Simply pop it back together. If that's the case.

Car made it home last night, so I went to refill it. Figured out if I pull on the DIC switch housing buttons work perfect, so I have to look into taking that apart later. Thanks for the tip. It's going back to college later today so won't have time to check the grounding wires.

Other than a little annoying wind noise behind my ear it drives really nice. Was below zero this week and it started fine for her. The Nokian WRG3 I put on just before it quit running work great on the slushy to snow packed road and quiet on the hwy.
