2009 LT exhaust

Hi I'm completely new to this forum, my mom bought a 2009 LX and said i can customize how i please XD (I DO have to pay for everything obviously)
I was looking around for an exhaust system, probably just a cat-exhaust i don't want to get into the headers or anything. I saw a bunch of exhaust kits that work for the SS but i was wondering if the pipes would match up right for an LX.
The exhausts i'm looking at right now are APEXi, invidia(i think thats how it's spelled) and Ark, i've heard Ark is kind of a invidia knock off.
Also if you guys could give me some pointers on which kit to buy or how to go about picking the right one that would be awesome.

(by the way, i'm just getting started seriously working on cars, but i go to vo tech so i'm learning very quickly, i can do the basics IE. brakes, exhaust, ignition, intake.. that stuff.)

vo tech is crap try not to put much faith in your education from there.


this is a electronic cut out. basically it has a valve that is opened to bypass the remainder of the system.

so that basically makes it a 'straight pipe' when the valve is open?

yeah for the most part. legal when its closed lol

any exhaust for the 05-06 ss/sc and base models will fit they have the same flange bolt patterns
