my steering column shook like shit trying to get unstuck burning in 3rd gear, i hope i didn't hurt anything
oup did read all post. but yeah it hurts everthing from your culumn to the wheel bearing. when this happen, you ve 3 solutions:
-slow down
-faster to get smoother, something it help
-get out and remove all this white things out of your rims and boost it after it lol
Well I knew my steering column was fucked already, have been too lazy to book it in because i don't have a 2nd vehicle and can't afford to waste $200 on a deposit to rent a car since i don't have a credit card, did that last time and it did not turn out very well.......Could i have wrecked a wheel bearing? The way to notice is an unbalanced wheel at high speeds ya? I would imagine a poor wheel bearing would cause vibrations in the steering wheel rite?
wrecked a bearing probably not.
that hurt between steering rack and your steering wheel. tie rod get mad too.
you ll noticed it by a sound that accelerate and slow down depend at the speed you go.
you can feel it in your steering wheel if your bearing is destroyed. jack your car, take your wheel by two hands and try to find a loose by shacking it. if feel tight your bearing are good.
mag are not the best. if you ve money next year buy a set of steel wheel and put your 17' winter tire on. with that tactique you wont pay anymore for changing your tire twice a year.
how was the snow plowing your car did lol mine still plows because the snow is all over the side roads and then the mains roads are now gravel roads and no longer pavement *shakes head* stupid city.
