Wiper Hop

I have a 2009 Cobalt. Anyone had this problem, and if so,have any answers ? My driver's side wiper hops across window,then comes back smooth. Tried cleaning window and wiper.Changed wiper,only was as bad if not worse. Happens when soaking wet or dry....annoying! Thanks

Looks like you ingalls torque damper to get of the hop. Ha ha

Hey man mine does it on my ion the window has groves in it that u can't see because the windshield at sometime had been abused by bad wipers. I smoothed it out some after time but still does it

Mine does the same thing, we tightened them up and it helped but it still does it. Mine is an 06 and it has done it since the day I bought it. If ya figure it out let me know.

Try buying a new blade arm with a sculpted wind deflector on it. About the same price. The deflector (looks like a mini spoiler and runs the length of the arm) will keep the blade flat on the windshield at speed.

mine only hops when the wind shield isnt very wet.. i need to take a paper towel to it with some rubbing alcohol
