What size exhaust

I have a 2008 cobalt sport coupe, and I am trying to find an exhaust for it. My problem is that all exhaust systems that I have found so far are made for either the 2.2L, the SS s/c, or the SS t/c, none specific to my car. Does anybody know if any of the exhausts for the other models will fit my 2.4L cobalt? thanks

id go to a local exhaust shop that can do mandrel bends and get them to fab u one up thats 2.25-2.25

Anything that fits the 2.2 and SS/SC will fit your 2.4L Cobalt Sport, they're the same 2 bolt flange. If you want to go to a local shop I'd say go for 2.5 with a good resonator and a muffler that isn't a grapefruit shooter.

I have in my car a 2.5 with a magnaflow resonator and a borla pro xs on it, sounds amazing, and yes its a 2.4l

Since you'll prob just be doing exhaust, 2.25-2.5 is best. No bigger. A shop will bend you stuff for pretty cheap. Mine was only $120 for mandrel bent, fitted to my turbo muffler, but I didnt get stainless though. You can try without a resonator, but they sound better with one. Not as loud, and tinny. And if you go this route, put some damn muffler hanger on it. We dont need anymore of the sparklers that are everywhere. Granted most are honda or the like, but there is 2 cobalts by me with the 8" tip bouncing under the bumper.
