Things a little weird

[COBALT SS]

My buddy has an 05 Cobalt SS that be bought new off the showroom floor but there are some things we don't understand. First off he is the first registered owner but it said it was an executive order car. Second is he was told they started then count at 1000 on the vin but his car is number 934. The car is supercharged and is blue with a 5spd. The I exterior has recaro seats and Bose stereo along with lots of other options that I have not seen on ANY other cobalt SS around my area. The dealership is now calling him all the time offer in to pay off his loan AND give him the truck of his choice. WHY?!?!?! Thanks for your input and answers.

Sounds like your friend bought a run of the mill, fully loaded cobalt SS. The dealership just wants a sale, perfectly normal.

As for the sale on a truck the salesman is offering the truck for FREE. The guy is wanting this car badly. I don't think this is just a run of the mill cobalt but I could be wrong. Thanks for the input and I will let him know
