Chevy Cobalt forum is now running on a new forums software. Its called Xenforo. Its a whole new forum software then what CCF has been running since the beginning. CCF was on vBulletin. It was on an older version of vB and I never wanted to update to the newest versions because of the amount of issues they have had. I decided to go with Xenforo as it has all the newest bells and whistles.

Check out it. Comb through the site as it now has different features. Become an active member on the forum once again. I'm not giving up on CCF, I hope you don't!

Post up what you think about it here in this thread. Let me know what you like or don't like, or what you see anything buggy.

I like the new interface. Looks good. I'll be interested to see how all this works with moderation and vbulletin. Do we still have vbulletin?

I like it. I also like that the site isn't bogged down by tons of advertising like some other car forums. Hopefully the site can get some more traffic.

From an SEO perspective, I can tell you that quite a few forum platforms have tons of issues with duplicate content. I don't know if Xenforo has the same issues (pages that show only one post, "print view" pages being two big ones that come to mind), but it may be worth digging around to find out. Duplicate content issues can do some serious damage to search engine rankings, and search engines are likely the forum's biggest source of traffic.
