I'm trying to wire a subwoofer/amp in my 2009 Chevy cobalt LS. I have a stock radio so I need another 12volt source that is off when the car is off. I've done it in a Pontiac Bonneville and a Honda civic but I cant find one. Can anyone help?
Get a test light or meter to test wiringI'm trying to wire a subwoofer/amp in my 2009 Chevy cobalt LS. I have a stock radio so I need another 12volt source that is off when the car is off. I've done it in a Pontiac Bonneville and a Honda civic but I cant find one. Can anyone help?
Is that a hot fuse box though? Will it be off when the car is off?I've got a 2008. Assuming they are the same, there is a kick panel on the passenger side of the console that you can remove to show the fuse box. You can then either find a diagram online or use a voltmeter to determine which one would work for you.
Ok thanks a lotSome of the terminals turn off, some stay on. You have to test them to find out which does what you need. I forget which one I used (sunroof maybe).
