no problem. you can also get a hydroshield from AEM i beleive that fits over the filter to prevent water from getting in. this is important, if water gets into the intake, through the throttle body and into the IM to the engine it will hydrolock and at that point its time for a new engine

some moisture is not going to hurt the motor, mainly it will just steam clean the combustion chamber, spark plug and valves, but if it get submerged there is danger of hydro locking. hydro lock occurs when the cylinder is flooded with a liquid, either fuel or water; what ever the liquid, air is compressible and liquids are not hence the piston attempts to compress on the compression stroke and being hindered by the liquid you end up with bent rods.
