Just installed Eibach Sportlines on my 2005 Cobalt LS 2.2L.

Should I cut the bump stops?

Yes otherwise youll sit on them and wont get the full drop.I cut mine in half

Ive heard a lot over at a few different forums.

This is what Ive heard:
Dont cut because you will lengthen your strut life and
If you dont cut, its better for shocks.

all that does is let you sit on them, your basically bottomed out. makes the ride more harsh. you shouldnt be lowering on stock struts anyway..............

makes sense but you'll still need to replace your struts over time... when you cut you will run the shock/strut beyond it's normal capabilities and this will cause them to wear out faster. If you are planning on upgrading then I see no issue w/ cutting them.
