SHort Shifter

Does anyone have the TWM short shifter? I just put a new knob on mine and now the distance between speeds is HUGE! I just thought to myself, DAMN! I need a short shifter. Anyways, I read the install procedures, it doesent seem too hard. I just hate that I would have to take out that whole center console >.<

i've had a hurst and now i have b&m. never tried twm but they look like nice stuff. i can tell you not to get the hurst though.

Is it cobalt specific, or do I need to search for the cavalier 2.2 shifter?

youll have to get one for a LS,LT.SS shifter assemblys are different and will not work

2000-2005 Cavalier short shifters will work. I have one installed in my LS. Check out Cosmo Racing.

ya cavy used f23 trans. there's a ton of shifters out there for it.

I've had the hurst for a long time, no issues. What was wrong with yours?

I have the Hurst as well with now issues. I have had mine installed for 2 years now.
