Shift Light

Is there a way to turn off the annoying shift light in my car that turns on way too soon?

If it's that big of a problem then just take the bulb out. lol
Or put electrical tape over it or something?

It's just really annoying because it comes on at less than 2k rpms

Drive less like a granny and it won't come on so early. It's designed to save fuel. If you don't like it remove the bulb.
