Pulled intake silencer out, have a quick question.

I was swapping out headlights, i already had my wrench set out, so I figured why not. hour and a half later, the plastic piece is in the trash.

one question though. the maf sensor is now more out exposed then it was. Is that a reason for concern? Keep in mind i live in texas, where the weather tends to be bipolar.

What do you mean more exposed? Like more of it in the intake?

You've still got a filter in between it and anything that might possibly damage it. It's fine. Ran my 2.2 without the silencer. Currently running my 2.0 turbo with the short horn trimmed to 2.5" as well. Nothing to worry about.
