Has anyone had any bad experiences with pep boys fuel filters? The locking end that goes to the tank had a different end than the factory one and i decided to try it out and couldn't get it to lock all the way. So I was a little irritated and try to force it to lock, primed and started the car and no leaks for the first 20 seconds and then fuel started leaking out the filter fast as hell and the car obviously just bogged out and shut off so i just put the old filter back on. It was my first time doing it on this car so at least now I know what to look for when i go back. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Yeah i did them back in the right order. the old one went back on with no problems. Dude that sold it at pep boys was all over the place so it is possible he just grabbed the wrong one.

I purchased my fuel filtering system from Pep Boys. I had some doubts, but then visited Pep Boys @ Pissed Consumer and read reviews and decided to try. you know, I'm pleased with it. it works good for me. also I was offered a discount, I will be able to use it in future. :mario:
