hi all! jumped on here looking for info on my wifes 07 cobalt LT this thing has become a POS since she bought it. struts went under 50K the right rear hub was shot about the same time it has electrical gremlins that i can't quite figure out. so any advice will be helpful to figure this thing out. thanks

Your pretty much dead on base models were pos. The true SS models were the one to buy if you wanted a cobalt. Struts and whatnot are much stronger

ya unfortunately i found that out a lil late. been dealing with this car for the last 2 and a half years and it keeps getting worse. not much i can do with it unless we are talking total rebuild to a SS suspension and drive train. it only has about 64K on her now and she is worse off than my bonnie was at 194K. not quite understanding it myself.

I spent more than 2k on suspension for my ls cobalt and I still could hear annoying noises.

i have had mine for 2+ years and i haven't had any problems yet.....just the front speakers going in and out
