Need help installing a headunit in an 08 cobalt

whe you say module, do you mean something with the aftermarket H/U or something on the factory side?

ok well i went to best buy today and had them install my H/U, everything worked fine i guess i just had the wires hooked up wrong lol. Went home and installed my subs and they sound better in this car than they did my maxima, now im done with stereo stuff in this car, hopefully lol

so using the cheap harness on a non onstar nothing will happen to other things in the car when i took out my stereo my engine light came on ? any ideas

If the chimes come out of your speakers you will lose them, if not it changes nothing.

did u unplug anything related to the airbag and turn on the car with it unplugged?
