Magnaflow or Flowmaster muffler?

it still sounds agressive at lower rpms just doesnt sound like ur doing 60mph wen ur doing 15 lol... flowmaster is loud all the time

Have you heard a Megan in person?
Does the flowmaster sound the same?

I have http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=8190 it's pretty deep sounding I like it alot. as far as other magnaflow mufflers I have no Idea what sounds good or not.

Do you have the megan? and is that what you were recommending?

I have the Megan but sucracingturtle said the flow is loud. I wanted to know if he's heard it in person and if they sound the same.

Thats what I thought. How do you like the Megan? Ive heard its one of the loudest out there...is it TOO loud? I know it comes with a silencer too, how effective is that?

Or should I just ditch the Megan/silencer idea and go with Magnaflow?

Well u said you never had a catback or aftermarket muffler so it may be too loud for ur liking. If you have a stick dp then it may not sound so bad. The silencer is very effective. Still can here tho at idle but about 20% less noise. The description says it lowers ut about 30-40%. I'm thinking of getting a differerent silencer tho. Saw a ricey one that's adjustable. Cost about $18. So imma probably try that and see how it sounds. Dunno

i thought I remember seeing one of you putting the silencer in and taking the silencer out....
