Looking to get a cobalt :) need advice.

Hey guys I'm in need of some advice on purchasing a cobalt. I currently own a 02 grand prix. I'm looking at cobalts because they have good support from zzp and I'm looking at a car with better mpg. I do plan on modding and own hptuners for my laptop. Just need advice on best model and engine (might sound silly but I don't need an SS).

HPtuners is good for all but the 05-06 2.2 Cobalt. I'd say get a supercharged LSJ, it's a solid motor and most of the aftermarket applies to it. Anything under an SS is just leaving stuff on the table with how cheap they are.

Agreed. You wont be happy with anything less than an ss/sc. The ss/na isnt even that much better than a lt.....other than the body, and the 2.4 its the same car. If you are already asking about hptuner, and aftermarket, you'll be disappointed with the result. Just put the hop up momey into getting a forced induction ss and be happy with what that gives you.
