I am 18 years old and am looking to buy my first car. i have really been looking at the dodge avenger, but due to its price ive opened my range to some other cars. my brother has a 2008 g5 and it seems to be a really good car. i have come across this 2006 cobalt with 40k kms (24k miles) for $9000. i feel as though i xan bring the owner down a bit on the price. he has modded it a bit with a body kit and some audio upgrades. the body kit has been painted matte black which i would take the time and money to repaint it to match the car. the car also comes with the original 15" rims and his custom 18" rims as well.

he has the original body kit included in the sale.

I wouldn't pay anymore than $5k or $6k for that. Its an 06 LS.

For $9k, you could hop into an 04-05 Ion Redline... or maybe an 05-06 Cobalt SS/SC if you looked around. That'd give you much better Suspension and a lot more power/potential.

EDIT: I just found 21 SS/SC's and 5 Redline across the country for $10k or less on Autotrader. 5 minutes of searching.

And 54 SRT-4's for less than $10k. Haha

...are you serious??????

Turbo 2.4L Dodge SRT-4... easily upgradable... make a lot of HP easily. If you don't know what it is... you probably shouldn't own what.

Just remember to check on insurance before getting a turbo car.
For me when i was 18 i was looking at a 98 eclipse that was Turbo.
Because of it being Turbo my rates would of been at least $250 a month. If it was non turbo it would of been $170
Now this was for a car that was only 1 year old.

The SRT-4 was only made in two car bodies... the Neon and the Caliber. The Caliber is too new to be bought for that cheap.
