Intake Mod for 2.2L Cobalts with pictures!!

take it out...i did this mod to a friend and she loved it...she said it made her car sound beefy and i gave her my k&n drop in filter

maybe it will breath a little better from the air flow coming through that hole in the fender...it wouldnt hurt anything...and you would be taking some un needed weight off

Uhh.....what CEL? I did something more drastic than this and never had a problem....like cutting off the top of the airbox to put a 3" cone filter on it.....

yeah there should not be a cel unless you cut the MAF wires or something

i already have a k&n cai in. is it worth the time to still take out the silencer? also since i installed my cold air and exhaust my dash is saying ive lost gas mileage, about 4mpg. can anyone help me out as to why? thanks
