Tools Required:
Hands
Car
Automatic transmission
2.5mm Allen Key
Step 1.
Start the car.
Put it in Drive.
Pull the E-Brake
Step 2.
Grab the chrome piece at the bottom of the shifter and Twist it Counter Clock Wise WHILE pushing it down. Here is what you will get:
Step 3.
Located on the exposed brown plastic on the backside of the shifter is a screw. Get your Allen Key and unscrew it a couple of turns, you don't have to take it all the way out.

Step 4:
Pull it off and you now have successfully removed your automatic shift knob
Hopefully I won't have to explain how to put it back on........
