Ive had my tails nightshaded but I am re-doing them so there is absolutely NO nightshade on the reverse lights.

Is this how you make a perfect circle?

what i did was get a flash light and stick it the light hole. then you just tape it up and mark with a pen your circle wich will be clearly defined and then cut it out w/ a razor and just perfect it a little to make it perfectly round

oo oo i got this one... i used three strips of painters tape overlapped. then used a ball point pen to trace the circle groove around the clear then used a sharp knife to cut it out. I'm sure my knife is sharper then your typical knife so use a razor blade/exacto knife.

TIP be very very careful when removing the tape. also make sure you clearcoat the niteshades or it will peel when sprayed with pressure washer. and then wax them babies!!!

Here's a beter way. Lay some masking tape on a clean table. Guess you would need like two or three strips of it, lay them next to each other so it's approxamite the size of the reverse light. Now, get a protractor and measure from the middle to the edge of the reverse light. I hope u know how to use one. Then draw the circle on the layed tape and cut it with scissors, peel off from table and place on light. Violà

protractor ftw!!! lol

Ok guys, I finished!
I put painters tape on, shined a light through the holes and cut it out with a pocket knife.

Thanks for everyone's input!
