homemade cold air intake?

just wondering if anyone has put together a cold air intake and how wel it compares to a company made intake?

30 bucks foe the MAF adapter the the rest was the piping and the little breather filter and the couplers,I didnt like the weird clamps they supply with it

i has a k&n typhoon on the 2.2 right now when i supercharge im using a AEM intake with dry flow filter

Heres mine...Just like FASTL61..I bought the MAF adapter and then the oddball pipping.

I did the cold air elbow and it didnt like it at all,started misfiring at idle like crazy,made it into a SRI again and runs fine lol my car hates CAI's
