rod that is coming along nicely. and as for the 2010 meet, the way its looking in the poll is its gonna be in BC this year unless something unexpected happens, i for one can not wait to see this beast of a cobalt in person. and good luck with the rest of the build and getting your money back from "you know who"

BC?? I thought you guys were doing Sask??? If BC is it, I am sure we can get a good draw because my car will be done by then :D

I look forward to hearing his response to the lawsuit.

any luck on the suit?
Waiting on the reports on the ecotec race engine 'failure' before the lawyer proceeds.

Welcome, You should add Cliff Notes to your Car's story
cliff notes:
I started a project.
I trusted JBP
I got raped without lube
I fired JBP
I hired another company
They let me down
I brought the car home
I am trying to get the project completed
I am running out of money

A few people, over the different forums, have commented on how the transmission mount seemed a bit flimsy so here are some pictures of the finished product. As well there is a good shot of the finished engine cradle/solid mount. The nice thing is that only 8 bolts need to be removed to drop the entire engine/transmission after I disconnect the driveshaft. While I hope it is a long time before I need to utilize this convienence I will be prepared. I like the fact that I now have a mounted V8 in my engine bay.

Next week some really cool stuff is supposed to start, building the custom headers. When those pictures are done I expect to need to post a towel warning before posting them up. ;)

All forward motion is a good thing Tom. Hopefully our waiting ends sooner than later. ;)
