Disclaimer: I cant take credit for the how-to, the actual owner is tylerb

There have been a lot of people wondering how to remove rear badges so i figured i'd do a write up on it.

This is really easy and does alot for the look of the car.

i used-
an old credit card(to remove badge) you can use fishing line also.
meguiars body scrub
meguiars wax
hair dryer(optional)-but makes things easier
something to apply wax and body scrub with

heres a pic with the badge

now to start take the line or whatever you are using to remove it and slide it under the emblem. this is when you can use a hair dryer or heat gun to melt the glue a little and make it easier. once you have it removed get all the glue off with your fingers. now take the body scrub and apply it to get the last of the glue off. repeat scrubbing until you think it looks right. once you are satisfied with the body scrub apply some of the meguiars wax and remove. wash car and you are done.

just to add, if you use a credit card to do this put the back side of the card to the paint so the numbers wont scratch your paint.

and the best way to get the glue off is: heat up the glue, spray some goo gone on there, heat it up some more, and then use a old wash cloth or ur fingers to rub the glue off. it comes right off that way

I used a half bottle of rubbing achool just to get the glue off the rear bowtie.
I was going to take door moldings off.
But that would be a all day project to get the glue off.
