Clutch help?

Been led to believe my cobalt needs a new clutch by some friends. I really have to rev it to make it go from gear to gear. It runs fine through the gears. If anyone in the MA area could give me a helping hand that would be awesome. Thanks!!

Go to your car crank it. Put it in 3rd.... If I takes off like it's in 1st get a clutch. Of it dies as soon as u do this it's good
