Buyer Questions For G5 Coupe

I'm considering purchasing a G5 Coupe, Between the year of 2008-2009
I am looking at one's that are pretty much loaded aside from the GT, witch i am not after for reasons.

I just have a few Questions i want to ask for those who are ok with answering quickly, or redirecting me to the answers. These are just couple things i wanna no about this Particular Car and It's Cobalt Twin.

Question #1. Do the Ecotec Engine's Use Timing Belt's or Timing Chains. I'm aware the engine's have changed a bit through the years, I am most likely to wind up with the 2.2L placed in the 08 and 09, SO i am only asking about the 2.2, not the 2.4L or the turbo/super.

Question #2 What kind of Gas mileage should i expect From an Automatic 2.2L 4cyl if driven Lightly everyday to and from work and the occassional Elsewhere around town. I Understand the Factorys 100% Just wanna here from Other drivers, And Also how is it on the highway.


Question #4 (Although this one doesn't matter much to me) Is the Pioneer Audio system Much better then stock.

Where r u located? Pioneer system is def worth it but you can easily upgrade your basic stock speakers gas milage around 32 hw and its timing chain

i live in canada. the G5 and cobalt were made up to the 2010 model year here.

i am more then aware the speakers are joyfully easy to do, Although i don't rly ever wanna have to rip apart to do so, because like cars before it the cobalt/G5 are little cheaply built and touching around just makes it worse, want it to stay in it's best condition forever. Regardless of that i Would also Never want to Swap the actual Stereo system as replacing it with a deck would Look Horrible, Unless it was a big Massive removable touch screen but even then i am not in favor of that.

Also i did forget another question..
can the 2.2L from 2008 and up benefit from the use of Premium Fuel.

ecotecs are timing chains, there's two of them. one is on the balance shafts and the water pump sprocket. the other is on the cams. you won't see an increase with premium fuel because it's not tuned for it.
