I want to order and install a aem uego wideband air / fuel ratio gauge on my 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged 2.0L ecotec, but am wondering if it is really worth it? Has anyone here installed one yet? If you could include pictures that would be appriciated.

Are you 100% capable of installing wideband? It's between you and Corea and I know you need the money more than him, I will be getting one sometime over winter so I can get tuned b4 Matt takes off. Steve me and u gotta talk, I gotta get my headlights fixed and I should have my tranny fluid changed just to be safe so lets work out a deal to do both over a weekend or something and I'll hook you up some *cha-ching* for the bank account.

yes i'm capable. who do you think installed travis'. its quite a simple process just unplug the stock o2 sensor, install new sensor. run wiring into interior and run necessary power wire. plug in and turn vehicle on and watch her give you readings.

I installed mine minus the bung welding, if I coulda figured out how to hook up the aux output on the wideband to my stock wiring I would have gone with that.

if your tuning the car yes it is almost a must to have a wideband. it's a good idea if your going to mod the car but if it's stock then probably not where you want to spend your money.

since it's obvious i'm going to need a 3 gauge pillar, any suggestions on wat the 3rd gauge should be? I plan to get a PSI gauge to replace the stock kpa one and then of course wideband i'm sure could go in the middle but what to put at the top.....oil temp? electric? what else can i put there that would be useful to me? At this rate I'm tempted to spend the extra and get the RPD unit now, it has absolutely anything I could possibly want other than data logging.

depends dude. if you want functionality i would probably go with the interceptor. but if your getting the rpd then i would probably get a pyrometer or egt gauge.
