I have a 2010 Cobalt with 7k miles. 99% of the time the car drives like a dream and I love it. But,,,,sometimes the car will just miss or flutter. (only for a moment) It happens when slowly cruising or even sometimes at highway speed. I get no check engine light and it happens at cold temps as well as N.O.T. I have noticed the problem since buying the car at 4k miles but seems to be getting worse either with miles or colder temps.
Just because I know it will be asked, I don't take it in under warranty due to the car has a salvage title and I was told the warranty is void.
Could a fuel filter be bad in 7k miles? Is 2010 a bad year to buy for some reason. Maybe the accident (hit high front) buggered something up like TPS? The reason I asked about the bad year is a comment I seen here about someone searching for a 2010 Cobalt.
