I have had my cobalt for some time now and no issues until one day i floored it down a street and when i came to a stop and i started going again i noticed a noise coming from the passenger side of the engine. So that is when i started the journey of trying to find the noise. so far i replaced the tensor pulley and the serpentine belt and checked all of my pulleys. i also put a magna flow exhaust on and i have a cold air intake. i had replaced the flex pipe and the exhaust manifold gasket and the other gaskets with the sealant that pertain to the exhaust. i also had the muffler checked to make sure there is no leaks. and still i have this noise. my dads best friend is the manager at the chevy dealership near me in the service and parts section and we took it too him and he could not even figure it out. so for 3 months of frustration and money gone trying to figure out a noise that still going on and i still cant figure it out. I am also thinking of getting rid of the car and getting a new mustang but i am also in college and dont want to have payments and college to pay for. but willing to take that route if problem still happening.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
