2006 Cobalt a/c condensation in passenger floor

First time posting, but have been a lurker for a while.

My Cobalt is leaking a lot of water from the housing under the glove box. I've looked at other posts on this subject and most say to clear out the a/c drain hose as it may be clogged.

I've looked everywhere for an actual picture of the location on my particular car with no luck. I've gathered from looking at its location on other cars where it should be, but Im not seeing a hose in that location.

The only thing there is hole covered by a vented plastic cover. Water seems to drip from that opening but not heavily. I've tried to blow air up that hole, but with it being vented, its hard to get a good seal to blow any gunk out. I also tried to use a coathanger to fish any gunk out but still to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as mold is starting to form in my passenger floorboard and I dont want to shampoo it out if I cant get this problem solved first.

I have this same problem. At first I kinda thought it was the air conditioning thing, but I have since become convinced that it is leaking when it rains, and to a lesser extent when I wash the car. I have yet to crawl under there to figure out where it is coming from but I suppose I should finally try, maybe next weekend. Anyway, if you figure it out, please remember to come back and post. I will do the same.

Check the drains in your sunroof. I've had the same issue.

Not sure about the original poster's car, but mine doesn't have a sunroof (wish it did!).

Mine has nothing to do with when it rains, I can visibly watch water drip from the evaporator. Your problem most likely lies with clogged drains on your exterior. Theyre below your wipers, but under the panel thats there. Those drains can become clogged and cause rainwater to drain back into your car
