09 LT with a prob...

im a newby and i hope someone can give a good answer

09 cobalt lt 2.2 79k 1 owner (ME) Has a bad catch up/slagtime when leaving a stop OR hard acceleration
Changed the following..
fuel filter
plugs and wires
air filter
cleaned MAF
ran # diff fuel injec. cleaners over 6 months of so.
always 100% gas
BANGIN MY HEAD HERE....
OTHER THAN THAT CAR RUNS LIKE A SCEAMIN DEMON...ALWAYS HAS.

DEALER SAYS IN SPEC BLA BLA BLA
tps is in the tank with pump..NIIIICE

How do i check fuel pressure? Im starting to think its a failing fuel pump..which was replaced with the recall BS cpl yrs back.
I have scanned with my obd but not sure how to read certain % of certain things like M<AF MAP TPS etc
Any place i can find SPECS online?

This is an issue that just came up on my '10 LT. I have 124k. I just did another fuel filter and plugs/wires.

Could it be a bad Cat?
My wife had that same issue with her 08 Malibu with the 2.4l, turned out to be a bad Cat. that was around 80k. IDK something fairly easy to check just a few bolts and you can remove the Cat and look to see if it is clogged. I replaced mine with a stainless ZZP Cat back at 250K it did make a big difference with performance, although my Cat was fine the flex portion cracked.

I'll second checking exhaust pressure and the cat condition.

I'll also say it may be a leaking fuel line causing the issue. I had a small leak (patched but not fully repaired yet) and the car would lose power if I idled for more than 30 seconds or so. It would also take longer to crank and fire after sitting short periods of time. If it sat long enough it would get cold enough to start easily, but with no fuel in the line on hot restarts it might kick over and stall or just crank longer. Patching the fuel line made it stop doing that. Replacing the line will keep it from happening again. That's my next step.
