I have a 2007 cobalt SS 2.0 and I replaced the radiator and the thermostat. While sitting still [I have not tried to drive it yet] the coolant temperature has been getting around 220 and the heater is not blowing hot air, the top radiator hose is warming up like normal but the bottom one is not warming up at all. seing as I already replaced the radiator and thermostat I am at a loss on what to do now. Any help would be appreciated.

Yea I was told to bleed the system by letting it warm up and then taking the radiator cap off and also to squeeze the hose a few times, is there a better way of doing that?

That's about right. The bleed point is where the return hose attaches to the upper radiator pipe, you can loosen it then start the car.

You do have coolant in both fills right?
