G8 GT vs. the new Taurus, or I SHOed him!
do u use the sport shift at all? mines a turbocharged 2.4 and when i ran i was at 7 psi, supposedly around 260whp but i was able to put 2 cars on a fully bolted 2.8 pullied redline pretty easy so idk... ur g8 seems pretty quick. nice kill -

here's pics of the new piping in the bay and my boost controller ( ive been tinkering with it all day and cant seem to get it right ) first i went from infinite boost to now im back at 7-8ish.. ugh.. this is sucking. i may have to buy a new boost controller and only dyno with 7 psi on next sat...- Zdeuce4

GOT MY PIPING IN!!!! car is a new animal now. spool sped up about 1k so i get it at around 2.5k now and the mbc is set around 12 so it pulls nicely i must say- Zdeuce4

very nice. im jealous. 2.2s do have the upper hand over 2.4s in aftermarket internals. im prolly doin the same as well as adding the full head build and meth for the higher hp areas.- Zdeuce4

im only gonna have it around 12 psi when i dyno. ive been told i should see around 300 with that. i thought that was a bit high but after looking at other cars and similar compression ratios i think its feasible. my turbo is kinda big so i should have a decent flow on it tho. but u got a...- Zdeuce4

no wonder ur clutch is fine. u got less than 210 wtq lol... i noticed 2.2 turbos have low tq too. were like freakin hondas man. i better dyno like 250 wtq lol- Zdeuce4

i do expect it, but like i said in the first post, im getting a new clutch as soon as i sell the wheels on my car. there's a couple 2.4s who were able to hold the power for awhile. At 7 psi ive had no slip and i could easily assume im close to 250whp with 7 with the way i pulled on the cars i...- Zdeuce4

Deuce's 2.4 sleeper?? turbo build the main purpose i bought this car was to boost. i wanted to sc previously but after seeing wut zzp did with this car it changed. end goal is to run high 11s with it on drag radials. and possibly have up to 500 whp. ill trade u trannys. i think we're unlucky. id like to work my way up to 500 whp and the best clutch they have for us is spec. and i dont want spec.. im gonna roll with the exedy stg 2 for awhile. but its only rated at 279 tq- Zdeuce4

thats a neat setup and pretty serious power for a stock motor 2.2.. good stuff.. i like the fact u can use the aftermarket header and dp with it but still throw the turbo on. thats pretty cool- Zdeuce4

san antonio ftw.. i drive up get a sticker and drive off. they dont even drive it or get in it or look at it. just peel and place new sticker. lol -
