So I have a 2006 and for about two years now it will do the reduced engine power, I learned after the first time NOT to drive in this state as it jerks and bucks and sounds like it's ripping the engine apart. So I cut it off and restart it "until" it starts in a normal drive (this is usualy no longer then about 3 mins). So I also get the "check airbag" signal quite often.

I feel like the REPower happens "more often" when it rains and I'm using the wipers or if it's sitting out in the cold AND when my gas tank is less than half full. I've had autozone etc check and they come up with the throttle code sometimes and then sometimes they it's th O2 censor, sometimes I can go a couple of weeks or even months with out seeing the airbag or REPower warnings

Also my car won't start until the gas hand reaches the point of how full my gas can is, and sometimes I can hear a low humming while the needle is reaching it's point

I recently last month got a new battery as when they tested it it would be lowish I figure the car was 7 years old why not but that didn't help or fix any of the above problems I've listed. I'm at my wits end as it has also stalled on me a few times when I was at a light and tired to "turn" or if I breaked fast after going at a slow milage. I'd read many boards about them and no one ever talks about FIX that stopped the REPower once and for all. Is this something fixable or NOT. Do I just need a whole new car.

What are the exact codes you're getting? That throttle body code is likely doing it.

The reason it won't start at first is because the fuel pump has to pressurize the fuel rail, totally normal.
