Okay where do I even begin!

So I have purchased a 2007 chevy cobalt no more than 2 and a half months ago. Since then, I have had multiple issues, and frankly it is beginning to really piss me off! (Said in the most lady like way possible!)

First, I have leaking underneath my passenger dash, which I have taken in to "clean out my A/C drain" a couple of times. The FIRST time they clear it out with an air hose, only to take it back a second time once it began leaking both under the passenger and driver side by my gas pedal. And when I say leaking, I mean totally soaking my floor board.

Anyway, on the second go around they informed me that there was a "mouse nest" above the panels of my ac drain which continually kept clogging it up causing water to spill inside my car. So I pay them the $70 to clean it all out, only to drive off the lot for it to begin leaking again!! Not as bad I'll admit, but still enough to give my floor board a decent sized puddle of water on the passenger side.

That's just the beginning though! So my car has sat at my local chevy dealer for roughly 3 weeks out of the 2 months I've had it due to recalls. They changed the fuel pump, retriever (?), some hoses, ignition switch, and power steering pump all due to the recall. Which isn't a big deal, things happen, right?! Well, as soon as I get my car back from them, my cobalt is now having a delayed start, in which sometimes I can sit there and crankcrankcrank but to no avail, only for someone else to try and it sputters to life! And by sputters I mean, it starts off like it wants to die, revs all of a sudden on it's own and then goes back to normal.

I call BACK up there for one of their servicemen (not the one I've been dealing with for this whole time he of course would be out of office) to tell me it "sounds like my fuel pump is about to give" and to take it down to hook it up to a diagnostics machine, again for the MILLIONTH TIME!

What!!?? I just want to scream! But instead I decided to politely hang up and call tomorrow when the guy I have been dealing with is back in office. :flipthebird:

So now, here I am hoping one of you can help me! :Big Laugh:

Do you have a sunroof? The front drain tubes are known to clog and/or disconnect at the bottom of the A-pillar.

The delayed start sounds like your fuel line is losing pressure when the car is off. Do you let it prime before starting or just straight to start? Listen for the pump priming in the back, it's a high pitched whine. When you don't hear that, then try to start.

No sunroof unfortunately! And generally I am guilty of jumping straight to start, so I will try that, Is that normal to have to let it prime before starting?

It can be normal. Though it shouldn't be for more than a single start. Any longer than that and you should get it looked at.
