I am currently attempting to turn a 07 LS with 2.2 Manual into a oval dirt track race machine. Im having some difficulties getting it to start. Here is what happened from start to where im stuck at.
I had gutted the entire vehicle. Left everything plugged in that I had unplugged except the air bag on the passenger side. I removed it completely. I had drove it to the garage to remove the windows. I then had taken out the radio, the wipers and wiper motor, and front drivers seat.
I then trashed those parts. The car now does not want to start. The fuel pump is not kicking on and the starter is not engaging the crank and turning over. However the first time I tried after removing those few thing and driving it, it did try to crank once and that was it. now no fuel and no crank. After removing the fuse cover under the hood I located the crank fuse. fuel pump fuse and live wired them both and the fuel pump will run and the it will crank over but not start. Im not getting spark or something. I believe this may have something to do with antitheft or something similar electronically. I bought another radio and put it in hoping it may complete some circuit ordeal and it would start. Negative. Checked all fuses and grounds and everything is good. Something is not allowing fuel to send, and starter to engage crank all in the turn of the key. This is a manual 5 speed transmission keep that at mind. If anyone has any suggestions or knows what I may have to do to bypass any antitheft system ect. let me know please. I need to get this car on the track so I can have some fun thank you.

First off welcome! And I wanna see pictures of this thing running around the dirt oval when you get it going.

The radio is unrelated to your problem. You still have the BCM hooked to the ECU so that should be alright. Is the the security light staying solid or flashing after the lamp test?

Did you remove the HEADLIGHT WIRING HARNESS? There is one ground wire that feeds back to the fuse block thru this harness.
