2007 Chevrolet Cobalt automatic transmission.
Thursday after work, my car was jerking when pulling out of the parking lot and the Traction Control light came on for my ride home (1 hour) then turned off when I got home and restarted the car.
Friday I drove the car with no issues.
Saturday the car was shifting very hard, the cruise control will not engage and the doors do not lock and unlock when you go into gear and put the car in park.
Should I go get the codes read? Is this common and is there a do it myself fix? I was thinking this was possibly the battery, it is about 4 years old and I live in upstate NY.
