i know this is not what ya'll are used to but my car is a beach buggy and im wantin to raise it a little for clearance and to stop bottoming out. i have look into coil spacers but nobody makes any for a cobalt. i am just looking for some ideas. like a vehicle that has the same style shocks that i can get bigger springs or even spacers so any help would be appreciated

problem is the base model has the "tallest" springs. only thing you can really work with is how stiff it is. find one that will absorb shocks better. strut and shock uprade would be a better upgrade to ride quality. for an example go to a dealer that has a 08-10 SS and go for a test drive. notice the difference in ride...

Getting Koni shocks will make the ride stiffer if you dont need more height, otherwise you're gonna be in uncharted territory trying to find taller springs. You could always throw a couple of footballs in the back springs to keep them higher.
