Hello,

Just curious if anyone has done a conversion from Ca compliant to standard? The reason I ask, the fuel pump is out on my car and the dealership wants $1200 to fix it. Most of that is in parts for the fuel pump, the filter and a sensor inside the tank. I am pretty handy and was wondering if anyone has converted to the standard pump and filter?

Good looking site and look forward to any insight you guys can offer.

Iirc we had a recall on our fuel pumps. Forever miles and time. As for you. What went wrong?

Didn't know there were 2 different parts. Do you have the part numbers?

I own a California car but I don't live in Cali. Supposedly it would be covered under the recall if I was there, to far of a tow bill. Just quit drove it home and it wouldn't start the following morning. No fuel pressure at the rail, replacing the fuel filter and pump which are inside the tank. I didn't know it was a California edition when I purchased it in KY.
