Code p0420

So my cobalt was throwing code P0300. I replaced the ignition control module and replaced the spark plugs and that code went away. Then when i got onto the freeway code p0420 came up. I cleared it and the code just keeps coming back. Could it just be a 02 sensor or is it more than likely need a new cat. I had to drive it home when it was misfiring with the code p0300.

Most likely need a new cat. What engine u have?
For now if the code bugs you a lot. Use an o2 defouler

You mean a speak plug non-fouler?

Same thing. Just hones out to fit a o2 sensor lol
