Well im wanting to do the big 3 wire upgrade in my 09 Cobalt. It is a LT. I looked at it a bit and I am clueless when it comes the simplest way to get to it. I cant even see the power from from the alternator...also where would be the best place to run it through the fire wall? Last car I did it to was a 02 grand am and I simply stuffed wires through the grommet for the steering wheel shaft. I will be using true 0 gauge wire for the big 3 upgrade.

I am installing a audio system in my car in the coming week and I want to do the power upgrade. Will be doing a single 15 off of about 1000-1200 watts. The amp is a old school Rockford Fosgate 1000bd...its under rated.

But yea...what will I need to do? Have read around and no one explains it. Only thing I have found is that it takes a good bit of effort and time to do it. Hoping to get it done tomorrow while its nice and warm out. 85 degrees and Sunny Skys :)...will have to do it shirtless to get rid of the whiteness of my skin buaha.
