Hi,

I recently bought a 2009 Cobalt LT sedan after the motor blew in my old car. I am just taking my sub and amp from that car and installing it in my Cobalt.

I did a search and found a lot of posts about where to run remote wires, rca cables, etc. from the dash to the trunk, but I need to know the best route to wire the Power wire from the positive terminal on the battery to the trunk. My main concern is how to get it inside the car from the battery. Is there a pre-made hole that larger wiring can fit through?

In my old car I actually had to drill a hole in the floorboard, run the wire through, and seal it but I really don't want to do that to something this new if I don't have to.

Thanks for the help,

Crowley

For the Power wire from the positive terminal that is easy.
The battery is int he trunk next to the spare tire. So it's all inside.

Haha, I feel like an idiot now. I never would have looked there. I thought it was tucked away under the fuse box under the hood for some reason.

Thanks for the help though.

Now on your 3. You can run the wire through the boot with the bundle behind the glove box or behind the battery where the clutch pedal would be.

Yep under the cover.
If you have any Moding questions. Let me know.
I know just as much about the 3 as the Cobalt if not more.
Also getting the front bumper off the 3 is super easy.
